PictureThisPet, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our photography services.

Information We Collect:

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as:
  • Name and email address.
  • Information about your pet(s) (name, breed, age, temperament, health considerations).
  • Billing and payment information (processed through our secure third-party payment processor, Stripe).
  • Any other information you choose to provide (e.g., special requests for your session).

How We Use Your Information:

We use the information we collect to:
  • Provide, operate, and maintain our photography services.
  • Process your booking and payments.
  • Communicate with you about your session, including confirmations, reminders, and delivery of images.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests.
  • Improve our services.
  • Send you marketing and promotional materials, only if you have opted-in to receive them. You may opt-out at any time.
Important:

Service Agreement (Terms & Conditions)

Scope of services, fees, and general terms

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you ("Client") and PictureThisPet, LLC ("Photographer"). By booking a session, Client agrees to these terms.

Scope of Services:

Photographer will provide pet photography services as detailed in the selected package (e.g., "The Studio Spawtlight," "The Signature Paw-trait Experience," "The Ultimate Pet & Family Collection"). Package details (duration, number of images delivered, backdrops, included subjects) are outlined on our website/booking information.

Fees & Payment:

  • A non-refundable session retainer/deposit (as specified at booking, e.g., $150) is required to secure the session date and time. This retainer will be applied to the total package fee.
  • The remaining balance of the chosen package fee is due on or before the day of the photography session.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will be locked in at the time of booking. Applicable sales tax will be added.
Image Delivery:
Final, edited high-resolution digital images will be delivered to the Client via a private online gallery within thirty (30) days from the session date. Client will have two (2) weeks from the date the gallery is delivered to download their purchased images.

Cancellation, Reschedule & Return Policy

Important notice requirements and fees

Cancellations & Reschedules (By Client):

  • A minimum of forty-eight (48) hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel. Please email [email protected].
  • With 48+ hours' notice for a reschedule, your session retainer may be applied to a new date (to be scheduled within 60 days), at Photographer's discretion.
  • Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours' notice result in forfeiture of the session retainer. A new retainer is needed to rebook.
  • No-shows forfeit the retainer.

Return & Refund Policy:

Session retainers are non-refundable as they reserve your session date and time. Session fees are non-refundable once the session has been performed. All sales of digital images are final and non-refundable once delivered via the online gallery.
Non-Refundable:
All session payments are non-refundable. However, sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. In cases of severe weather or emergencies, we will work with you to find a new session date.

Copyright & Usage Rights

Image ownership and usage permissions

By participating in this photo session, you agree that all photographs taken by PictureThisPet are the intellectual property of the photographer. You are purchasing high-resolution digital files for personal use, but the photographer retains full ownership and the right to use images for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes.
  • Copyright Ownership: PictureThisPet, LLC retains full copyright ownership of all images created during the photography session.
  • You receive: Personal, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use
  • You may: Print for personal display, share online with friends and family
  • You may not: Alter, edit, or sell the images without written permission
  • Photographer may: Use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing
Personal License:
You are granted a perpetual license to share and print the images for personal use, but PictureThisPet reserves all commercial rights.

Pet & Owner Behavior Policy

Studio rules and safety requirements

Welcome! To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and productive session, and to respect our studio space and office building neighbors, please adhere to these policies:

For Your Pet(s):

  • Leashes required in all common areas (hallways, lobby, elevators, parking areas)
  • Vaccinations current and pet must be healthy (reschedule if unwell)
  • Potty breaks before entering building; owners responsible for cleanup
  • Aggressive pets: Must be disclosed; session may end for safety without refund
  • Damage responsibility: Owners financially responsible for any damage
All pets must be under control and well-behaved throughout the session. Owners are responsible for their pet's behavior at all times. Disruptive or aggressive behavior from pets or people may result in early termination of the session without refund.
Safety First:
Sessions take place in public and private environments, so respectful behavior from all parties — pets, owners, and humans alike — is required to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone involved. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.
