The Journey from Template to Custom

This site began with a simple idea and a **Squarespace template**. While that platform got things off the ground, it didn't take long to hit its limits — both in design flexibility and the custom workflows I needed to support a growing creative business. I wanted more control, better automation, and a seamless experience that could scale with my vision.

So I made the jump. With **no formal background in web development**, I turned to AI for help — specifically **ChatGPT, Claude.ai, and Grok**. Over time, we built every part of this site together: the custom photo session builder, the dynamic intake forms, the Stripe-powered checkout, and even the client galleries. Every page you see here was shaped through conversation, iteration, and problem-solving — not with a drag-and-drop tool, but with **code and logic written collaboratively, line by line**.

I purchased my domain, routed it through **Cloudflare**, and set up the site infrastructure on **GitHub**. What started as a workaround turned into a full-on digital rebuild, powered by AI and a drive to do it better.
